CSGOEmpire promo code not working? Here's how to fix it
Entered a code and nothing happened, or can't find your free case? It's almost always one of the reasons below. Work through them in order.
Where to enter the code
The easiest way is to sign up through a referral link like csgoempire.com/r/CrazyMongo, which fills in the code for you.
If you already have an account, click Free Case 🎁 in the top bar of CSGOEmpire. That's where you type a code manually, e.g. CRAZYMONGO.
Common reasons a code doesn't work
Typo
Codes must match exactly. Copy it instead of typing: CRAZYMONGO. Check for extra spaces at the start or end.
You already used a code
An account can normally only be linked to one referral code. If you used another code before, you usually can't switch.
Not a new account
The free case is meant for new players. Older accounts may not be eligible.
Account requirements
The site may require extra steps first, such as verifying your email or linking Steam. Check for a message on screen.
Region restrictions
CSGOEmpire isn't available everywhere. If gambling sites are restricted where you live, features may be blocked.
Page glitch
Refresh the page, log out and back in, or try another browser. Ad blockers can sometimes break pop-ups.
The code worked but I can't find the free case
- Click Free Case 🎁 in the top bar again. The Gift Case opens from there.
- Look for the key counter in the case window. It shows how many free openings you have.
- Still nothing? Contact CSGOEmpire support through the chat on the site.
Watch out for scams: nobody legit will DM you asking for your Steam login, Steam Guard code or API key to "activate" a promo code. Real codes are entered on CSGOEmpire itself, never anywhere else.

Can I change my referral code later?
Usually not. Once an account is linked to a code it generally stays that way, so pick the code before or right after signing up.
