Is CSGOEmpire rigged? Provably fair explained simply

Short answer: CSGOEmpire uses a provably fair system. The site locks in each result before you bet and lets you check it afterwards, so it can't change the outcome based on what you bet. That makes it fair per roll. It does not mean the odds favour you: every game still has a house edge.

How provably fair works, in 4 steps

The site picks a secret server seed and shows you only its hash, a fingerprint that proves which seed was chosen without revealing it.
Other inputs are added, such as a client seed or public data, so the site can't pick a seed that favours itself.
The result is calculated from those inputs with a fixed formula.
The seed is revealed afterwards. You hash it yourself. If it matches the hash shown earlier, the result wasn't changed.

Analogy: it's like writing the winning number on a paper, sealing it in an envelope and handing it to you before you bet. After the round you open the envelope and check that the number matches.

How to verify a result on CSGOEmpire

Open the Fairness page (link at the top of CSGOEmpire).
Find the round or opening you want to check and copy its seeds and hash.
Use the verifier on the Fairness page, or an independent tool, to recompute the result.
Compare: the recomputed result and the hash should match exactly.

What provably fair does NOT mean

It doesn't mean you'll win. Game odds and payouts are set so the house earns over time.
It doesn't make case odds generous. A case can be perfectly fair and still have a 0.01% knife, like the free Gift Case.
It doesn't protect you from scams outside the site. Fake sites and fake "support" DMs are a bigger risk than the games themselves.
